Jessica Socienski is an attorney in the family law department at Ciccarelli Law Offices. Jessica is a confident, knowledgeable, and empathetic attorney who helps her clients traverse complicated legal issues related to a variety of family law matters, such as divorce and equitable distribution, protection from abuse, child support, and child custody matters. Jessica’s personal family background enables her to truly understand how her clients feel while going through family related legal struggles. Her turbulent family life as a young child catapulted her desire to become an attorney and today serves as significant motivation to see her clients through tough times and get family lives back on track.
This unique perspective allows Jessica to better serve her clients since she is consistently mindful of not only the financial issues that accompany difficult family legal issues but also the psychological challenges they present. If children are involved, Jessica is especially cognizant of her responsibility as a compassionate child advocate. She tirelessly works to ensure that the legal process serves the child's best interest and that the child's rights are not compromised. Jessica is an attorney who knows how to listen to her clients and ask the right questions.
Jessica received her Bachelor of Science degree from Cabrini College and her law degree from Widener University School of Law Delaware. The Delaware Domestic Violence Outreach Program sponsored by Widener Law that accepted student volunteers after they completed a domestic violence training course. Through this process Jessica attended weekly PFA court in New Castle County where she conducted victim intake interviews, liaised between the petitioners and the attorneys, and assisted the attorneys at trial.
After graduating from law school, Jessica began working as an attorney at a law firm in Bucks County, focusing her practice solely on family law and protection from abuse matters. Jessica’s time practicing in Bucks County provided invaluable experience with complex and sensitive family legal issues; Jessica represented clients with complex custody issues such as paternity actions, grandparent and third party custody rights, and in cases involving serious domestic violence, mental health, and drug addiction issues. This experience, as well as Jessica’s own personal experience with family law issues, provides Jessica with unique insight and personal understanding of the effects of family law issues, causing Jessica to be a zealous advocate and a compassionate counselor to her clients.
